Diagnosis, Repair, & Restoration

Diagnosis: £25 (Payable on booking) 

This is useful if your machine was working absolutely fine and purring like a dream, then suddenly went clunk and the handwheel stopped turning.

If the diagnosis result is that the machine just needs a service, you will be charged for both the diagnosis and the service. 

Service: £60 (including £15 deposit paid when making an appointment)

This is useful if you are having tension issues, or your thread keeps snapping, or if your machine is noisier than usual.

If a problem becomes apparent (like a broken part) when servicing your machine I will call you before I continue any work or order parts with an estimate of how much it will cost to fix. 

Restoration: Starting at £120 (Including a £60 deposit paid when dropping off the machine)

This is useful if you have been donated a machine from a long lost relative, but the motor smells like burning, the pedal is a bit broken, and the handwheel feels stiff to turn.
